Teeth Whitening in Athens

Athens/Oconee Teeth Whitening -

TLC Dental gives you a smile you can love

It may not seem a difficult task to keep your teeth as bright as they can be. Stains and discoloration however, diminish the attractiveness of many people's smiles. Teeth are exposed to a number of substances that may cause the smile to lose its luster. These include wine, coffee, tobacco, tea, and a wide array of foods people enjoy daily. If you want to recapture your most vibrant smile, consider professional teeth whitening from Dr. Anita Mathew.

In-office whitening

With professional in-office teeth whitening, you can improve the color of your smile safely and effectively in just one treatment. With only an hour-long process, it is possible to brighten the smile up to eight shades lighter. In-office whitening treatment is an excellent cosmetic solution for men and women who have little time or desire to wait for optimum results. Whether you have an important meeting, a wedding, or another special occasion, we are happy to help you feel your best.

Whitening performed in our comfortable dental office is convenient and quick. We begin by applying a protective covering to gums to prevent irritation from the bleach solution that is placed onto enamel. The whitening gel is applied carefully to individual teeth and is activated with light directed toward the teeth for a period of 15 minutes before removing the gel. This 15-minute process can be repeated up to three times to achieve dramatic results.

At-home whitening

Not every one of our patients will find in-office whitening to be an ideal path toward a stunning smile. If you have sensitive teeth or simply prefer the idea of improving your smile gradually, our at-home whitening treatment may be suited to you. This convenient, comfortable method begins with impressions taken in our office. From this model of your teeth, we craft whitening trays for you to wear on a daily basis. Within your first few treatments at home, you will notice a brighter, more vibrant smile. Most people see their desired effect within one to two weeks of daily wear.

Both in-office and home whitening methods are efficient at dissolving discoloration on teeth. To see a beautifully whitened smile, schedule your visit at TLC Dental Spa.
